*There is a difference between the absence of illness and the experience of being well. My job is to guide clients toward achieving their potential for greater health, balance and joy. It takes many forms and there is no one right way. As Prema Chodron says “Start where you are”.
“All of life is important and arises from the sacred elements. The highest practice is the one that is most effective. So which practice should you do? The one that seems appropriate in the moment. The one that you’ve connected with, understood, practiced, applied. If you cannot resolve everything with one practice, then use other practices. Experiment until you know how to work with them and know how they affect you, and realize the longer you work with any practice the more profound its effects will be. Learn what works and what you need. The spiritual path isn’t a passive journey; you don’t just follow what someone says. You have to investigate, inquire, experiment. You have to invest yourself, your time and your life in the path. Then you will find that the path reveals itself to you. You can follow it, but in following it you must also discover it.” Tenzin Wangyal rinposche
Eating well nourishes your entire life. It’s not normal to have energy dips in the afternoon and brain fog in the morning. Wake up energized and ready to leap into the day! Life is to good to go through half awake. Increase mental alertness, shed excess pounds, eat delicious foods…learn through a cleanse or other means but start where you are. Now is the time.
If a habit is working for you stick with it. Learn to discard habits that no longer serve you well by slowly adding nourishing habits. It doesn’t have to feel like a duel between right and wrong but rather an embracing of something new and exciting. Everything changes all of the time…including our cells. Create healthy ones as best you can.
